Who doesn't love a party with great live music, DJ sets, artworks and rocking performances?! The 2high Festival is throwing a pre-party at The Box this Saturday 13 October to give an exclusive preek of what's to come at this year's festival.
For those who haven't heard of the 2high Festival, it's a yearly all ages and free event at that showcases interactive displays of art, music, performance and much more. It's one of the few multi-arts-experiences that focuses on young and emerging artists. This year's 2high festival is on 10 November at the Brisbane Powerhouse.
But if you can't wait all the way until November, head along to the pre-festival event. The Blue Hour launch party is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the 2high community. For only $10 a ticket online (bargain), the party will give you access to one of the West End's coolest venues and unlimited entertainment all night long. There will be sets by Astrid and The Asteroids, Box Knife, Jeremy Hunter and Arab Israeli Crisis DJs. Also not to be missed is a performance by physical comedy and circus maestros, The Gremlins and video projections by 2high exhibition artists.
2high are a not-for-profit organisation and all proceeds go to supporting the artists. It's such a great venture for young Brisbane creatives SO get out of the Valley this Saturday night and have a sick time at The Box instead.
